Director - Landscape Construction

Scott Cathey is the Director of Landscape Construction. He has an extensive background in all aspects of 

landscape installation/construction spanning over 30 years in the Atlanta metro area. He joined the 

Russell Landscape team in 2012 and directs every step of our installation projects from pre-bid meetings 

to final walk-through. He has expert knowledge of soil composition, terrain grade, grasses, plant 

material, irrigation, hard scapes, and low-voltage lighting. Scott is the primary contact for all of our 

construction jobs and he is available to owners and general contractors for the duration of each project 

to answer questions and confirm that all jobs are operating to their specifications. Additionally, he

inspects all job sites multiple times weekly to ensure that all materials are being properly installed and 

that the site is being correctly maintained.
