William E. Russell II, CEO
Teddy Russell is the CEO and owner of Russell Landscape. Teddy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1998 from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He served as a member of the UGA Terry College of Business young alumni board in 2008. He is a past board chairman for the Georgia homeowner and condominium real estate association group, Community Association Institute, and was the past recipient of CAI’s Rising Star Award and the Rita Kennedy Distinguished Service Award. Teddy has been one of the youngest serving executive board members for any metro Atlanta area Chamber of Commerce and was the board's 2012 Chairman for the Greater North Fulton Chamber. He additionally served as Chairman of the North Fulton Water Committee from 2008 until 2010. In 2012, Teddy was Chairman of Georgia’s state landscape green industry association and The Urban Agriculture Council. He also served on the Georgia Turfgrass Association Board of directors from 2008 – 2010. In 2011, Teddy was selected by The University of Georgia as a member of their first Top 40 Under 40 Alumni Association Class. In 2010, he was recognized by Georgia Trend magazine as one of Georgia’s Agribusiness Top Movers and Shakers. In 2010, Teddy was honored as a member of The University of Georgia’s first-class, recognizing Georgia’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Businesses. In 2008, Teddy was a top-three finalist for the Chamber Small Business Person of the Year in both Gwinnett and North Fulton counties. Teddy received the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award for companies with over 100 employees in 2011. He has been listed in Gwinnett Magazine’s “People to know” edition numerous times. Additionally, Teddy serves through active membership in the Council for Quality Growth, Building Owners and Managers Association, The U.S. Green Building Council, The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club, the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Circle, The Cobb Chamber’s Chairman Circle, and is a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
Teddy and his wife Courtney currently live in Atlanta with their three children.
